The extensive renovations and additions to the Sixth Avenue home included construction with Alspec’s ecoFRAMEplus window and door framing products and ProGlide High Performance Sliding doors. Known for its energy efficient properties, ecoFRAMEplus Centre Pocket Framing is available in two depths (101.6mm and 150mm x 50mm) and easily transforms to accommodate single or double glazed glass as required. With its visually appealing sharp, unbroken lines, the ecoFRAMEplus gives the building a modern, clean look while delivering the technical specifications to ensure a comfortable and well insulated home.

The ecoFRAMEplus is designed to integrate with Alspesc’s extensive range of door products, including ProGlide high performance sliding doors which were chosen to provide access to the expansive upper deck area. The ProGlide can accommodate a range of sash options including single glazing sashes which can accept glass up to 14mm and Double Glazed sashes which can accommodate 18-25mm insulated glazing units. The doors offer double and triple “drop in” track options which have the ability to be easily replaced if they are damaged or worn. The ProGlide’s many features include standard or wide lock stiles to cater for a wide range of lock combinations and the ability to accommodate a variety of screening options. Meanwhile where hinged doors were required, the ecoFRAMEplus framing was combined with the Hawkesbury product to provide a double-glazed hinged door with the same insulation and performance qualities.
