Trinity Beach, Cairns QLD

Our Fixed Louvres provide a practical solution to maximise window shading without compromising light or views for those inside.

Distinctive white aluminium louvres have given a quintessential seaside character to a new commercial development at Trinity Beach in Queensland. Just 20 minutes north of Cairns, the beachside locality is a popular holiday destination as well as being home to a year round permanent population. The landmark “Beach House” project, which comprises restaurant, office and retail spaces, is expected to become a new hub for both locals and holidaymakers alike.

The Beach House’s eye-catching yet practical finish has been achieved through the addition of Alspec Fixed Louvres. Finished in “pearl white”, the fixed louvres have been applied to the eastern and southern facades where they provide a practical solution to maximise window shading without compromising light or views for those inside. Alspec Fixed Louvres are available in a range of flat and elliptical blades and assist with the thermal performance of buildings by minimising heat and glare. With the option of bracketing systems, the louvres offer architects and builders maximum flexibility for design and installation.

With the retail and commercial spaces now up for lease, the Beach House expects to attract business professionals to the first floor ocean-view offices, while the ground level premises will likely include restaurant and retail facilities.
