Building in a seaside location such as the Gold Coast requires careful consideration of the potentially harsh environment on construction materials. For this project, Alspec window and door framing solutions were selected, powder coated in a highly durable finish from the Interpon Ultriva range. Designed for exactly this type of location, the Ultriva range features ultra-protection from high UV, humidity and extreme temperatures. The 20 year warranty is testimony to the durability of the finish and compliments the underlying durability of Alspec’s architectural aluminium products.

The Ivy 95 complex features 50 apartments over eight levels, with a mix of one, two and three bedroom residences. The northern building façade features a panel of glazing with a sheer finish achieved by the combination of Hunter Evo framing and awning windows, while the apartment balconies are accessed through ProGlide High Performance Sliding Doors. Upstairs, residents have exclusive access to a rooftop pool, gym and entertaining area, with sweeping beach and district views. Once again, ProGlide doors have been utilised to provide easy access due to their durability and ease of use.
