Developing a hotel property requires a diverse range of spaces and facilities, all with different glazing and access needs. For this new Quest hotel in Springfield, QLD, it was easy to identify the right product for each scenario from Alspec’s versatile range of commercial window and door framing solutions.

The Quest Springfield Central hotel is part of the Health City One development designed by architects Deicke Richards. Located in the growing economic and health hub around Springfield, 35km southwest of Brisbane, the mixed use development includes medical and office suites, retail premises, a childcare centre and 18 assisted living apartments for MS Queensland.

The Quest hotel property features 82 serviced apartment suites over five storeys, with a mixture of studio, one and two bedroom options, with many including private balconies accessed through Alspec Altitude sliding doors. Meanwhile, the main building’s colourful panelling provides an eye-catching façade in front of the practical Alspec Hunter Evo 101.6mm Single Flush Glazed Framing.

The top floor is home to hotel conference facilities, where the large expanses of floor-to-ceiling flush glazed framing create a naturally well-lit open space which can be adapted to suit various conferencing needs. Meeting attendees also have the use of a large balcony with district views, accessed through ProGlide High Performance Sliding doors.

Whether visiting for business or pleasure, those travelling to the Springfield region will find it hard to look past this well-positioned and welcoming hotel to provide accessible and comfortable accommodation.
