On Remembrance Day, David Milovanovic and Justin Sharman from Alspec Cairns had the privilege of attending the commemorative ceremony and inaugural ringing of the newly installed peace bell at Anzac Park in Babinda, Far North Queensland.
They were invited by the Babinda RSL and local veterans after collaborating with them on the construction of the new Peace Bell Tower — a meaningful project supported by a generous donation of Alspec industrial extrusions and rolled products.
The story behind the bell and its purpose for future commemorations is truly moving, and it was an honour to contribute to something with such lasting significance.
