The facility supports the development of our innovative product offering across all aspects of our product range.

The testing facility is accredited by NATA, the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia for AS2047 testing of Windows and Doors as well as AS5041 testing for Security Screens and Doors.

These facilities ensure we get the best value possible out of our R&D team, so that we continue to lead the industry in customer focused product design.

We have two test rigs for AS2047 testing, used for different sizes and pressures. Test Rig 1 is 3100mm (h) x 4200mm (w) and Test Rig 2 is 2400mm (h) x 2400mm (w).

We have one test rig for AS5041 testing. The AS5041 test rig tests to all elements of AS5041 including Dynamic Impact, Lock and Hinge Jemmy test and Pull testing.

From an R&D capability stand point, having a certified rig creates the opportunity to test products/concepts and theories as new products are developed. We can also ensure individual component revisions and redesigns are not affecting the overall performance of a system.

If customers require a one-off test for their individual project needs this can also now be conducted within our testing lab, offering a service that has not been available in the past.
