Overlooking one of SA’s secluded beaches and set back in the rolling Hills of the Fleurieu Peninsula this private Myponga Beach property encapsulates all the views in its design. The owners wanted maximum unintruded views with symmetrical lines hence sliding doors are used as windows for ventilation, restricted openings where there’s no balcony and no horizontal lines to impede the view.

Being in the southern area of SA the winters are cold so thermal double glazing was also a must. Being perched up high in the valley with the high wind speeds the product performance was a priority along with minimal maintenance from the elements that the home is exposed to, that is why the Alspec Commercial products were chosen.

The ProGlide® double glazed sliding doors were used as entry points and window openings. The ecoFRAMEplus® 101.6mm double glazed main frame was used for fixed lights and all finished in 20um natural anodised. Two products used to give a simplistic and amazing result.
