Whether being fitted to an existing home, apartment or factored into a new build, Alspec’s range of fall prevention screens are not only a safe but attractive addition. The surrounding frames are constructed from Alspec’s high grade aluminium, which has the advantage of being able to be colour powder-coated to blend in with your home’s existing scheme, or even finished in a timber-look design.
While KidScreen specifically responds to the need for fall prevention, Alspec has other products which also protect openable windows, with a range of features to suit customer needs in different circumstances. KidScreen, Alu-Grille, Vision-Gard, Alu-Gard and Invisi-Gard all satisfy the Protection of Openable Windows standard. All three products exceed the 250N force requirement to provide fall prevention and are all NATA tested and certified. However, they differ in aspects of design which impact on elements such as ventilation, visibility and security.
The big advantage of our fall prevention screens is that they comply with the National Construction Code for the Protection of Openable Windows. This means that rather than having your windows open just 12cm to allow in a small amount of fresh air, while still keeping your children safe at home, you can use our stylish fall protection screens and open your windows fully.
