BASIX or Building Sustainability Index is a scheme introduced by the government of New South Wales, Australia in 2004 to regulate the energy efficiency of residential buildings. So accessing vital U-Values and SHGC’s (Solar Heat Gain Coefficients) could not be easier. All that was left was choosing the correct product for the necessary location on the building.
